    Job Title:

    Warehouse Manager

    CanDox Records Management

    Job Purpose:

    Daily supervision and oversight of all warehouse activities in line with CanDox policy and work practices.

    Education and experience required:

    Grade 12 or equivalent, appropriate work experience in inventory control management and warehouse operations, computer literacy and BC Driver’s Licence

    Supervision provided to others:

    Supervises warehousemen, couriers and temporary employees as required

    Reports to:

    General Manager – CanDox Records Management

    Status

    40 hours weekly

     

    Roles and Responsibilities

     

    Daily Job Functions

    1.1.  Set daily work schedule for warehouse personnel

    1.2.  Set daily work schedule for courier personnel

    1.3.  Supervise and conduct all warehouse work processes in line with CanDox warehouse policy and procedure

    1.4.  Supervise all courier work processes in line with CanDox warehouse policy and processes

    1.5.  Supervise all special projects in line with the General Manager’s priority control list

    1.6.  Initiate all lost carton searches

    1.7.  Conduct warehouse and courier operations when necessary

    1.8.  Report all problems, concerns and recommended actions to the GM

    1.9.  Perform all other tasks assigned to the warehouse manager by the GM

     

    Warehouse Operations

    2.1.  Ensure accuracy of all work practices and procedures

    2.2.  Recommend changes to policy, work practices and procedures

    2.3.  Ensure productivity against standards and benchmarks

    2.4.  Maintain security of operations and safety of employees

    2.5.  Ensure efficient scheduling and routing for pick ups and deliveries

    2.6.  Generate monthly billing invoices for clients

     

    Promote Business Growth and Success

    3.1.  Provide input for annual budgets and forecasts

    3.2.  Evaluate and recommend value added services

    3.3.  Tracking, monitoring and measuring the success of all we do against agreed upon benchmarks

    3.4.  Work cooperatively with sales staff to ensure customer satisfaction

     

    Customer Contact Management

    4.1.  Ensure that all services provided meet or exceed customer needs

    4.2.  Maintain and manage all contract provisions and revisions to correctly charge customers

    4.3.  Communicate with customers in regard to problem resolution and satisfaction in conjunction with sales staff

    4.4.  Cooperate and work with sales staff to manage customer procedures for efficiency and accuracy

     

    Security and Privacy of Systems and Manual of Operations

    5.1.  Understand and maintain all CanDox policy, work practices and procedures

    5.2.  Understand and comply with CanDox fail safe procedures

    5.3.  Understand and comply with CanDox disaster management and recovery plan

    5.4.  Understand and comply with CanDox security policies

     

    Facility Management

    6.1.  Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all CanDox office space facilities

    6.2.  Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all physical assets

    6.3.  Ensure daily redundant backup of all CanDox and customer data

    6.4.  Ensure the integrity of back up power sources

    6.5.  Maintain effective employee security access code system
